My Teaching Schedule

Currently, I am teaching both group classes and working individually with students at Yoga Among Friends, 4949 Forest Ave., Downers Grove, IL., 60515 (630-960-5488) and the Kirk Center for Healthy Living, 16618 W. 159th St., Lockport, Illinois, 60441 (815-838-0529).

YOGA AMONG FRIENDS SCHEDULE

special series class:
Yoga for Anxiety             Monday, 6-7:15 pm
                                          Session I: Jan. 9 -31, 2012
                                          Session II: March 5 - April 9, 2012

Six-class series focusing on the concrete tools that yoga offers for reducing anxiety and managing its symptoms. Pre-registration required; class size limited. Please contact me by email at jbyogatherapy@att.net or by phone at 1-630-936-9241 to register. Cost: $90.

Chant and Light             
Sunday, 10:30 - 11:30 am 
                                            Jan. 8 - 29, 2012

Learn to chant through listen-and-repeat method. This 4-week series focuses on simple mantras and a Vedic chant that help us, in the middle of winter, to connect with light. No experience necessary.  Pre-registration required. Basic Beginning Yoga   
 Saturday, 8 - 9:15 am
                                          Sunday, 9 - 10:15 am

Suitable for both the beginner and the more experienced student who is looking to re-connect with the fundamentals. Includes physical movement, breathwork, and introduction to some of the other tools that yoga offers for improving our clarity and reducing agitation.

Indidivual Sessions and Yoga Therapy

KIRK CENTER FOR HEALTHY LIVING

 Yoga
                          Tuesday, 6 pm - 7:30 pm

Workshops

Workshops offer an in-depth focus on a specific subject and are designed to provide both an experiential and intellectual understanding of the topic. Workshops generally last two to three hours and can be tailored for a specific group.
